We went to Indiana last weekend for a visit. It was nice! The trip down went pretty fast and the road construction didn't slow us down that much. Cale was spoiled rotten of course, but I'm pretty sure that's part of the grandparent code, spoiling grandkids. :)

G-mama and Grandpa bought Cale a new swimming pool because the old one they had, had a hole in it. He loved it!! We threw his monster trucks and cars in it and then it was a game. In, out, in, out, in, out, run around, in, out, run around, in out, in out. You get the point.

We went to a park as well. It was getting pretty warm so we didn't stay long.

G-mama and Grandpa bought Cale his birthday gift while we were there too. John Deere tractor and trailer! Oh boy we heard about this tractor and trailer for 3 days, until we were able to get home and have Jon put it together. Cale was sooooooooo very excited to see it all together tonight in our driveway! He loves it!

Quick update again

It's been a busy week/last weekend!! Took Cale to truck/tractor pulls out to Threshire Park (sp?) on Sunday. Nothing fancy but it was cheap, fun entertainment. The flea market was kind of small but the train was running. I think Cale loved that train ride more than the one we took in North Freedom. And it was cheaper!

Sorry it's been a few weeks! We have been really busy! Rylee's 2nd birthday was a couple of weeks ago. She didn't cry as much as I thought she would. Maybe she's getting past some of her anxiety! Yea!!!! Cale had fun in her pool and eating a cupcake. If we would have stayed longer, he probably would have had fun trying to help her open gifts too.

Last weekend was the air show. Cale really seemed to like the jet semi truck the best. He liked the smaller planes that do things closer to the ground, that way he can see them better. The jets made a ton of noise that didn't seem to bother him. He's still talking about the air show!

It was really nice out yesterday so we spent a lot of time outside. We trimmed bushes, mowed the yard, and played in the driveway and front yard. Cale loves to draw with chalk on the drive way. He tells you what to draw and what colors. He scribbles too, but he thinks it's funnier when we do it.

We are trying to get him used to wearing a hat too since he's got short hair. He wore the hat for about 1/2 hour yesterday. Better than nothing I guess!

Weekend update

Not too much new to report this week. We had a busy weekend again. Tried to sell some PartyLite products, looked at a horse trailer, and drag racing. Oh and we bought a few more things for the bathroom.

All about Jon

In case you didn't know, I also have a blog about China & me on here too. You should check it out everyone once in awhile. I am going to try to update that one a bit more frequently now.

Ok, all about Jon. Jon wanted to go drag racing this past weekend so Cale and I went with. Jon said he was having a bad day, but we thought he did great! His times weren't bad, until the las pass, but even that one was good. He was the fastest non-pro bike out there. That's pretty amazing! We had great weather on Saturday too! Cale did pretty well at the track too. He got a little bored so mom had to keep him entertained.

Midwest Horse Fair was great this year! The weather was decent and our rides were good. Tons of shopping and great horses/events to see too! Lots of people I knew showed up this year too, so that made it that much more fun.

Cale is doing well. Pretty sure he's hitting another growth spurt. Thought they were supposed to slow down on the growing by now?? His 2T pants are getting too short already. Geez! Summer is almost here so we'll try to hit some rummage sales for winter items! He still loves his trains!
