Train ride!

Cale's first train ride was yesterday. We took him to Mid Continent Rail Road in North Freedom WI. He was very excited. I think he enjoyed hearing the horns and seeing the trains more than actually riding on the train. It was a bit cold but over all, a fun day!

Some friends of ours went with as well - Josh, Charisse, and Wyatt. Wyatt and Cale were wearing their Thomas the Train shirts and one lady asked us if they were twins. Too funny considering Wyatt is a year younger than Cale, and at least 2 inches shorter!

Cale was so exhausted from the day that he actually slept most of the ride home!

Bowling

We went bowling last weekend. We didn't know what to expect but decided it sounded like fun. Cale was kind of a brat at first when we got there - whiny and saying no to everything. Once we got him fed, he seemed a little better.

I helped Cale pick out his ball - 7 lbs! We had bumper guards and a ramp to give the ball a little umph going down the isle. They even had shoes to fit him! He did pretty good, we only helped him get the ball on the ramp. In the one picture, you'll see scores - Cale's was 84!

There was an arcade at the bowling alley and half way through the second game, we lost him to the video games.
