2 month break

Blogger won't load pictures tonight! I've been gone from this site for 2 months and when I want to load pictures to update everyone, I can't! Sorry! For those of you in the know, hopefully you understand why there's been such a long break.

The above picture was from the 2nd weekend in July. I had just gotten home from camping and Cale wanted to show me how he rides hsi 4 wheeler. This was also 4 days after Kobe's amputation surgery. When I can, I'll keep posting pictures from the past 2 months.

Camping

Cale and I went to River Bend Campground and RV park last weekend. It was a friend's birthday and she paid for the RV and we paid gas. We both split food and drinks. This was our RV trailer. Had it's own bathroom, ac unit, and beds.
One of the playgrounds. This one was the biggest and closest to our trailer.
The jumping pillow. It's like a bounce house without walls.

Mini golf. He got a hole in one! Had to teach him how to hold his club and square up his feet but he did really well.
The four of us that went camping = Tanner, Cale, me, and Anne.

The snail slide in the kiddie pool. Cale had to go down it probably 200 times.

Memorial Day Weekend Part 2

After Rylee's birthday party, we went home and took a rest for about an hour then headed out to my friend Michelle's for a cook out. Michelle owns 5 very pretty, very expensive horses, plus 3 great danes (one that she shows and wins), her husband, and ones small fox terrier.

Cale kicking the soccer ball to me, but Breeze wanted to play too. She was more interested in playing with Cale than the ball. She followed Cale every where, waiting for him to run or jump so she could follow him.
This is one of Michelle's 5 horses with her 6 day old baby. Mom isn't overly friendly but baby was.
Michelle with Cale and Cricket (baby horse). She was perfect size for Cale to play with.

After Michelle's, we stopped at Josh & Charisse's for a bonfire. They had a huge piece of wood on the pile that burned for 2 days. It was really cool when it first started on fire.
Kobe at home. I took his vest off last week to give him a bath and wash the vest. I haven't had the heart to put it back on. He's getting around really well on his own. I help him in and out of the house. It was so hot last weekend that it was ok to leave his vest off. He's acting like a 2 year old dog. He plays and runs and gets crazy.
Monday, Kristie and I had an early start. We met at the farm to wash little girls and take them to Footville for a parade. Then off to Orfordville for a picnic and another parade. Both girls did really well.

Memorial Day Part 1

Blogger is not letting me load all the pictures I'd like to tonight, so there will be more than one part to this blog. The other part will be in a day or two.

This weekend has been extremely busy for us! Jon flew to Texas to see Bryan and family on Friday, so Cale and I had to entertain ourselves for 2 days.
Friday night, we went with Josh, Charisse, Wyatt, and Kristie to AirFest at the Rock County Airport. We met up with Mike, Rylee, Beth, and the boys.
Only 3 groups of flyers/planes where able to fly before the lightening and rain shut the show down. It was still pretty cool.
This plane hovers. It was really cool to watch it hover by us and then fly to the end of the runway and turn around while hovering and then come back. I got a video of that.
Cale is the one next to the guy in the blue shirt next to the fence. They were watching the hovering plane taxi down the runway.

On Saturday, we had Rylee's birthday party. It was a lot of fun. The weather started to get nice about an hour before her party and by the time all the presents were open, the sun was out and warm!
Left to right - Cale, Wyatt, Braden, Dillon, and Rylee is in the front.

Mother's Tea

Cale's school had a Mother's Tea last week to celebrate Mother's Day. The kids sang 4 songs for us and made us a red flower pen. We also mad magnets with sparkle glue and beads while at school that night. They had snacks too. It was really cute!

My surprise birthday party at Mike's last night. I had no clue! Jon and Kristie made me seafood dinner last weekend and we went bowling so I thought that was my gift/celebration! I have great friends and family.
Cale playing with his Mickey Mouse ears from Heidi and Jason.
We had hail this morning. Came down really quick and hard for about 2-3 minutes. Looked like snow!

Cale and Willow on China's birthday (4/18)
 Cale telling China happy birthday
Kristie and I took the horses into Afton on Friday. Afton is about 1 1/2 miles from where we board them now. All the girls did great. We stopped at Skip's Bar in Afton and grabbed a snack.
China and Willow. I think Willow is in the middle of another growth spurt again.....She's getting so big!

Cale had Kindergarten Orientation this past week at Adams. He's excited to go to the big school now. He spent 2 hours meeting new kids, new teachers, and seeing the school.

Busy busy busy lately - Rylee and Mike came out to the farm yesterday. Rylee seems to really like riding China. We didn't get Mike on China again, but he did lead China around, so we got some pictures of him, for once!

I tried getting some pictures of Willow to send to the farm we bought her from last August. She really likes Cale but doesn't really like to look at the camera when she's eating.

Happy Easter

After the egg hunt and opening Easter gifts, we took Cale and Jon for a bike ride on the trails out off Afton Rd.

Jon would push Cale a little to help on hills or to get him to go faster. I walked with Jade.

Easter egg hunt.

Gifts with some eggs and candy.

Cale helping Jon with the motorcycle. Jon went racing Friday night and burnt out the clutch.

Cale putting Kobe's cone on. Kobe will get into toys, candy, napkins, trash if we leave him alone with no cone on. It's either this or the kennel. He's still a young dog.

I took China to Deerfield to a open horse show last weekend. China glows when she's clean. I went by myself so there isn't any pictures of us actually showing. Maybe next time. We did ok. Lots to work on.

Cale and China the night before the show. I took China to the training barn to clean up and stay the night.
