Cale is enjoying school more. We had an open house last week to meet the teachers, kids, and other parents. Cale's teachers seem to like him. They said he listens well when they tell him to do something. He doesn't always play with the other kids, but they said that'll come as he gets older. He is one of the younger kids in class.

Willow was resting this past weekend. Normally, you aren't able to walk up to horses that are laying down. She really trusts us to let us get this close when she's down.

Labor Day Weekend

Willow is just like China with Cale - very gentle and curious. I still have Cale only stay up front by Willow's head and he can only touch her when I'm around.

100th post for this blog

And....it's about Cale's first day of 'school'. Cale got to start P4J on Thursday. I think I was more excited than he was! He was happy to go to school but he didn't have a lot to say about the first day. We think he was a little overwhelmed with all the kids and activity.

The second day seemed to have went better and he says he has a new friend. Her name is Sophia. So cute!

And, he's got homework already! At the age of 4! It's pretty easy though. It's kind of like Show & Tell. We have to get some pictures together about his life and interests so he can take it to school and tell everyone about himself.
